HBO Max‘s new TV and movie releases for April 8-14 2024 include Park Chan-wook and Don McKellar’s The Sympathizer, the HBO Original documentary Brandy Hellville & The Cult of Fast Fashion, and Teen Titans Go! To the Movies.
On April 9, Max subscribers can tune in to the platform to check out the original documentary Brandy Hellville & The Cult of Fast Fashion. This film will offer a gripping look at the toxic culture of teen brand Brandy Melville. It will unveil the universally negative aspects of fast fashion and the widespread exploitation system ingrained in the global fashion industry.
Also on April 9, viewers can check out 2018’s Teen Titans Go! To the Movies on HBO Max. This movie is based on the Teen Titans Go! animated series. In this film, the Teen Titans attempt to get a movie about them made like other DC superheroes. But they end up landing in a nefarious situation tied to their archenemy Slade.
Finally, on April 14, fans of Park Chan-wook’s work and Robert Downey Jr. can get excited as the highly anticipated historical black comedy-drama series The Sympathizer will hit HBO Max. The series is based on the 2015 novel “The Sympathizer,” which went on to win the Pulitzer Prize. Downey Jr. is reportedly set to play multiple villain roles in this new series.
