Amazon Prime Video‘s new TV and movie releases for March 25-31, 2024 include the upcoming shows American Rust: Broken Justice and The Baxters as well as the film Minions: The Rise of Gru.
On March 26, Minions: The Rise of Gru arrives on Amazon Prime Video. This film is the second Minions prequel in the Despicable Me franchise and revolves around an 11-year-old Gru, who attempts to become a supervillain with the help of the Minions. However, this leads to a battle with an evil team known as the Vicious 6. Steve Carrell reprises his role from the Despicable Me films as the voice of young Gru.
Then on March 28, Amazon Prime Video subscribers can catch American Rust: Broken Justice. This is the second season of American Rust, a crime drama series that originally premiered on SHOWTIME. Also on this day, subscribers can stream the ensemble family drama The Baxters.
Also hitting Amazon Prime Video during this week is The Imitation Game. This biopic stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Alan Turing, a renowned mathematician who made historical contributions to computer science but was persecuted for his sexuality.
