Besides Wolverine, Deadpool 3 is set to feature a lot of important characters and cameos. Being a multiversal movie, the TVA will be heavily involved in the film. But many fans wish to know if Tom Hiddleston’s Loki will also be joining the others. So, here’s all you need to know about a potential Loki cameo.
Will Tom Hiddleston’s Loki be in Deadpool 3?
Tom Hiddleston’s Loki is not confirmed to be in Deadpool & Wolverine.
With Loki being so close to the TVA in the show’s two seasons, he could have a cameo as the God of Stories, which can probably further set up Avengers: Secret Wars. But when asked from Tom Hiddleston, he didn’t answer the question directly.
Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in November, Hiddleston said the following while dodging the topic of appearing in Deadpool 3. He said:
“I mean, I know they’re making Deadpool 3…It’s a very good question. I’m thinking of all the answers I could give it…I know that Ryan Reynolds, he like, owns a football team in the UK. A soccer team.”
The lack of a definite answer from Hiddleston doesn’t mean he cannot appear in the movie. After all, plenty of actors have denied being in a particular MCU project in the past, including Tatiana Maslany who had initially refuted the She-Hulk casting rumors. So, Loki could always show up and he would be a huge surprise.
But one could argue that Loki doesn’t necessarily need to make an appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine. The film already has plenty of cameos including variants of both the leads. On top of that, many other Fox-Marvel characters are expected to show up in the film as well.
So, after the way Loki Season 2 ended, we shouldn’t expect a physical appearance from him. But with the TVA involved, we could still get a reference teasing his presence in the Multiversal Yggdrasil.
Deadpool & Wolverine is set to arrive on July 26, 2024.
