Siddhu Jonnalagadda is all set to reprise his role as DJ Tillu in the upcoming film Tillu Square. The movie is the official sequel to the actor’s successful film, DJ Tillu, which came out in 2022. Tillu Square has created quite a stir in the Telugu cinema with its posters. However, the movie has been facing several delays. Finally, its makers have announced the release date of its theatrical trailer.
Touted to be a romantic crime comedy film, Tillu Square follows the story of a DJ whose life takes a major turn following a mysterious murder. Mallik Ram is directing the film, while Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas are bankrolling it. Anupama Parameswaran is playing the leading lady in the movie. SS Thaman provides the film’s background score while Ram Miryala composes the songs.
Tillu Square trailer to come out on Valentine’s Day?
On Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2024, the makers of Tillu Square announced that they would release the movie’s theatrical trailer. Moreover, the makers announced that the trailer will be released at Hyderabad’s Sree Ramulu Theater at 5:04 pm. In the poster, Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran could be seen looking at each other with love-filled eyes. The post’s caption read, “The MADness is about to begin! TilluSquare Theatrical Trailer Out TOMORROW! Trailer to be screened @ Sree Ramulu Theatre, Hyd from 5:04 pm Onwards!”
Tillu Square was officially announced in June 2022, yet the film has faced several postponements since then. Its post-production issues have been cited as the reason behind the delay in its release. However, the film was set to hit the theaters on February 9, but it was again delayed to not compete with Ravi Teja’s Eagle. The film is now officially set to release on March 29, 2024.
