Disney Plus‘s new TV and movie releases for February 12-18 2024 include the National Geographic documentary The Space Race and the fourth and fifth episodes of Genius MLK/X Season 4.
Starting on February 13, viewers can stream the Disney and National Geographic feature film, The Space Race on Disney Plus. This film will be produced and directed by Lisa Cortes, an Academy Award nominee and Emmy winner producer, and Diego Hurtado de Mendoza, an award-winning producer and director.
This feature film will tell not widely-known stories of the first Black pilots, engineers, and scientists and their journeys to become astronauts and how they overcame the boundaries set up by racism and social injustice. This feature film will be executive produced by executive producers Frank Marshall and Tony Rosenthal of the Kennedy/Marshall Company.
Then on February 16, viewers can catch the fifth and sixth episodes of Genius: MLK/X. Genius: MLK/X is a National Geographic documentary-drama series that follows Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X from their formative years to their vibrant and rich stories as socio-political figures by exploring both their ideologies and their personal lives.
Other releases on Disney Plus include 13 episodes of Life Below Zero: Next Generation Season 6 and new episodes of Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures.
