Peacock‘s new TV and movie releases for October 7-13 2024 include Teacup Season 1 and The Irrational Season 2.
On October 9, 2024, The Irrational Season 2 drops on Peacock. This is a crime-drama series created by Arika Lisanne Mittman, whose previous credits include Dexter, Elementary, and La Brea. The story follows Alec Mercer, a highly reputable and knowledgeable professor of behavioral psychology who lends his expertise to governments, corporations, and law enforcement on a wide variety of cases. Jesse L. Martin stars in the lead role alongside a supporting cast comprised of Maahra Hill, Molly Kunz, Brian King, and Sara Canning.
Then on October 10, Teacup drops on Peacock. This is a mystery sci-fi drama following the residents of rural Georgia who band together to face a mysterious new threat in order to increase their chances of survival. Ian McCulloch is the series creator. Yvonne Strahovski and Scott Speedman headline the series.
Also releasing on Peacock this week is the movie Asteroid City.
Asteroid City is a comedy-drama helmed by Wes Anderson. The story is set in an American desert town circa 1955, where a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention is disrupted by various world-changing events. This movie includes a star-studded cast comprised of Jason Schwartzman, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Tilda Swinton, Edward Norton, Adrien Brody, Margot Robbie, Maya Hawke, and Willem Dafoe.
