HBO Max‘s new TV and movie releases for February 5-11 2024 include two HBO originals, Tokyo Vice Season 2 and They Called Him Mostly Harmless, as well as Ninja Kamui on Adult Swim.
On February 8, viewers can stream the second season of Tokyo Vice and the documentary They Called Him Mostly Harmless. The former is a crime-drama thriller series revolving around an American journalist in Tokyo who takes on one of the most powerful crime bosses in the city. The latter is a documentary focusing on the story and identity of a hiker who is identified by internet sleuths two years after his death in the Florida wilderness.
Then on February 11, anime fans can get excited for Ninja Kamui which will air via Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block. The story focuses on former ninja Joe Higen who is ambushed by assassins seeking revenge on him and his family for their betrayal, resulting in the death of Higen’s family. This leads to Joe assuming his former alias of Ninja Kamui to avenge his family and take down the very clan that raised him.
Other HBO Max releases scheduled to take place this week include Homestead Rescue Season 11 via Discovery Channel, The Accidental Influencer, The Whole Story with Anderson Cooper: Miracle on the Hudson an original series via CNN, The Deep Three, Tournament of Champions: The Qualifiers via Food Network, Race for the White House, Artfully Designed Season 2, Puppy Bowl XX, and Watergate: Blueprint for a Scandal.
