HBO Max‘s new TV and movie releases for December 25-31 include Scooby Doo! and Krypto, Too!, Oprah and the Color Purple Journey, and Time Bomb Y2K.
Starting on December 25 ala Christmas Day, viewers can catch Scooby Doo! and Krypto!, an animated comedy film that sees Scooby and the Mystery Incorporated gang join forces with Superman’s pet dog Krypto after Superman and other members of the Justice League begin mysteriously disappearing.
Then on December 28, viewers can stream Oprah and the Color Purple Journey, a documentary that will chronicle the making of 2023’s The Color Purple and showcase behind-the-scenes footage of what all went into making the movie.
Last on December 30, HBO Max subscribers can catch Time Bomb Y2K, an HBO original documentary that will use archival footage to document the frenzied hysteria around the Y2K event which occured just before 2000 and revolved around widespread fear surrounding a code glitch that would cause computers to revert to 1900 and all systems shutting down to a grinding halt.
