Longlegs (2024)
The first known project set to feature Nicolas Cage in the lead role is Longlegs, a horror film directed by Oz Perkins, best known for the films The Blackcoat’s Daughter and I Am The Pretty Thing That Lives in the House. Cage stars as a serial killer who is hunted down by a talented FBI rookie Lee Harker, played by Maika Monroe, the latter of whom eventually discovers a personal connection to Cage’s character. Cage is also serving as a producer on the film.
Arcadian (2024)
The next project Nicolas Cage will star in is Arcadian, formerly called Sand and Stones, an action horror movie directed by Ben Brewer. Cage will play Paul, the father of two teenage boys Joseph (Jaeden Martell) and Thomas (Maxwell Jenkins). Paul, Joseph, and Thomas live a peaceful and quiet life in an isolated farmhouse which is threatened by a strange creature that starts attacking their residence.
The Surfer (2025)
Nicolas Cage is set to be the lead of The Surfer, a psychological thriller directed by Lorcan Finnegan. The story centers around a man, played by Cage who returns to his beachside hometown only to suffer humiliation from the local surfers in front of his son. The man then declares war on the surfers after they claim ownership of the beach of his childhood.
Lords of War (TBA)
Nicolas Cage will reprise his role of Yuri Orlov in the upcoming Lords of War which will serve as a sequel to the 2005 film Lord of War. Cage will co-produce the film and also co-star alongside Bill Skarsgard, who will play his son in the film. The story will see Yuri’s son, Anton, try to top his father’s wrongs instead of righting them by raising mercenaries to help fight in America’s Middle East wars.
