Apple TV’s ongoing spy thriller series Slow Horses is currently running its third season. But many viewers wish to find out where the show is set and where it was filmed. Did the production happen on location or in a studio-built set? Here’s all you need to know.
Where was Slow Horses filmed?
Slow Horses’ season 3 on Apple TV was filmed in parts of Oxford, but mostly in London, UK, including locations such as Regent’s Canal and 3 Mills Studios.
The series was mostly filmed in London, UK. While there are quite a few city-wide shots in the show, authentic locales such as Regent’s Canal were also used. The indoor filming was done at the popular London-based soundstage, 3 Mills Studios. It is mostly used for filming and TV productions, being situated at the East End of the city near Stratford.
Besides London, a part of the filming also occurred in Oxford, as per The Oxford Mail. One of the filming joints in the city was set within the Blavatnik School of Government building on Walton Street.

Slow Horses is set in modern-day Britain, in and around London.
As mentioned above, the filming was done on location in London. As a result, eagle-eyed fans can spot many familiar sites from the city through the course of Season 3. One of the places that’s apparent is Smithfield Market on Grand Avenue in Westminster.
Other popular locations include Berwick Street Market, the Handa Walk underground car park, and 126 Aldersgate Street, which poses as Slough House in the show.
