This makes him unfit as her suitor as per the latter’s family members. This is the major plot upon which the series is based, and each episode paints a detailed picture of Saudi family life, the prescribed gender roles, and Razan’s troubled relationship with her ex-husband, affecting her teenage daughter Lamar’s equation with her father.
