Spider-Man 4: Will Michael Keaton’s Vulture Be in the MCU Movie?

After rumors of Michael Keaton’s Vulture appearing in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4 hit the web, fans want to know whether or not the character is appearing in the film or not. Here is all you need to know.

Will Vulture be in Spider-Man 4?

At the time of writing, Vulture is not confirmed to appear in Spider-Man 4.

According to reliable industry insider and scooper DanielRPK, Michael Keaton’s Adrian Toomes, aka Vulture has been reportedly lined up by Sony and Marvel Studios to reprise his role in Tom Holland’s reported fourth solo Spider-Man outing, which appears to be in development. However, neither Sony, Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, or Keaton have confirmed or denied Vulture’s presence in the film.

The reports of Keaton’s Vulture being lined up for an appearance in the fourth MCU Spider-Man film are quite surprising, given how the character is currently in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe as depicted in the mid and post-credits scenes of 2022’s critically panned Morbius, where he was transported from the MCU into a prison cell in the SSU, and was released immediately as he had no criminal record in the SSU. He was then shown meeting and talking to Jared Leto’s doctor-turned-vampire about teaming up to “do some good.”

Vulture’s presence in Spider-Man 4 could finally follow up on and pay off the Sinister Six tease in the mid-credits scene of 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, which saw Toomes interact with Mac Gargan, who was also imprisoned alongside him, with the latter trying to persuade the former to team up with him to get revenge on Spider-Man for ruining their plans by claiming that he had allies outside of prison who could join both of them in their revenge campaign.
