8 years following the God Valley Incident, Kuma became a pastor at 17 years old. He heals the poor and elderly in Sorbet Kingdom by taking out the pain in their bodies through his Devil Fruit. Ginny is now 21 years old and appears to be popular with the boys.
In order to pay the tribute needed to be given to the World Government, King Bekori taxed a large amount to the citizens. The citizens think the king is heartless and cheap since he makes the sick pay tribute.
It turns out Kuma’s taking the people’s pain by himself, similar to what Zoro did in Thriller Bark. Ginny is crying because of this, but Kuma is glad since the people he helped are happy. A few years later, Ginny wants Kuma to marry her, but he refuses after remembering his parents. He tells Ginny about Dragon and the Freedom Army.
After three years, Kuma tells the king’s army to set free the kidnapped people. Apparently, the king split the Kingdom of Sorbet into two parts. One part was under the state’s protection but the other one became a place for outlaws. Kuma was part of the outlaw area so those kidnapped people might become slaves.
Kuma, Ginny, and three people are in a jail cell. Suddenly, Dragon and Ivankov, the leaders of the Freedom Army, launched an attack on the Kingdom of Sorbet. They overthrew the oppressive king. Kuma and Ginny then joined the Freedom Army, now the Revolutionary Army. Both were commanders.
Dragon says he used to be a Marine. However, he realized there was no “justice” with them so he left. At the end of the chapter, Dragon finds out that Ginny has been kidnapped.
There is no information yet on whether the series will be on break next week or not.
