Netflix‘s new TV and movie releases for October 30-November 5 include Onimusha Season 1, All the Light We Cannot See, and the South Korean series, Daily Dose of Sunshine.
Starting on November 2, viewers will be able to stream the anime series Onimusha. This anime series will be based on the video game franchise of the same name, which in turn was inspired by the 2006 CG film Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams. An interesting detail about the upcoming show for film fans is that the main character, Musashi Miyamoto, will be modeled after prolific Japanese actor Toshiro Mifune. The supervising director of the anime will also be the prolific Takashi Miike, who previously worked on anime such as JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable.
Also on November 2, viewers will be able to stream the four-part miniseries All the Light We Cannot See, which is based on Anthony Doerr’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name. The story follows a blind French girl Marie-Laure and a German soldier Werner, who cross paths in an occupied France during World War II.
Then on November 3, viewers will be able to stream the South Korean series Daily Dose of Sunshine, which is based on the Kakao webtoon of the same name written by Lee Ra-ha, a former nurse, and highlights the author’s real-life experiences through the fictional character Jung Da-Eun, a skilled nurse in the Department of Psychiatry, and her interactions with the patients under her care.
Other releases for this week include Ralph Barbosa: Cowabunga, Mysteries of the Faith Season 1, Ferry: The Series Season 1, The Tailor Season 3, Selling Sunset Season 7, and Blue Eye Samurai Season 1.
