Saw 11 Release Date Rumors: When Is It Coming Out?

Although Saw X only recently premiered in theaters, fans of the gory-horror franchise are anxious to know details about an eleventh installment and whether or not it will become a reality.

Here’s all the Saw 11 release date information we know so far, and all the details on when it is coming out.

Is there a Saw 11 release date?

Saw 11 does not have an official release date as of this writing. However, the film is in active development according to Josh Stolberg, the screenwriter of three Saw films.

As such, due to the film being in active development, it will likely not be released until 2025 or 2026. This release date is also in line with keeping with the recent release pattern followed by the Saw franchise wherein a new installment would be released once every two years.

This date is an estimation based on the information we have at the time of this writing.

As for the cast, Saw 11 will be expected to bring back Tobin Bell as John Kramer and Synnøve Macody Lund as Cecillia Peterson as the post-credits scene of Saw X teased the latter’s involvement in a new installment of the franchise. The film will also very likely feature Costas Mandylor’s Mark Hoffman, who was also seen in Saw X’s post-credits scene where he was working on a new trap with John Kramer.

Where is Saw X coming out?

Saw 11 is anticipated to come out in theaters by 2025 or 2026 at the latest.

As for the plot of Saw 11, it is currently unknown. However, based on the ending of Saw X and its post-credits scene, the story could take multiple routes. One route could show Cecilia Peterson deciding whether or not she wants to take revenge on John Kramer after she survives the latter’s trap in Saw X’s ending.

Another one could focus on Diego and his whereabouts as he also survived the events of the film. Yet another one could focus on former police officer Mark Hoffman’s character and how he came to be Kramer’s disciple and successor to the Jigsaw mantle.
