While the star of Rabbit Hole, Kiefer Sutherland has expressed interest in doing another season of Rabbit Hole in an interview with TV Insider, he also said that he is unsure if production for a second season will occur. Additionally, the ongoing Writers’ Strike by the WGA has impacted Paramount Plus’ decision to renew Rabbit Hole for a second season.
Furthermore, as per Nielsen Ratings, the viewership ratings for Rabbit Hole’s first season were not strong enough and the series also failed to reach the top ten list of Paramount Plus streaming premieres. This indicates that it’s unlikely that a second season will be happening anytime soon or at all as streaming companies always look at viewership and ratings to determine whether new seasons should be picked up.
