This is because of the open-ended way the final episode of the sixth season concluded, which indirectly suggested that there was more room for BoJack’s story to continue. The last scene of the final episode of the sixth season showed BoJack in prison teaching his fellow inmates how to act in films and shows and how to deliver dialogue.
