Hulu‘s new TV and movie release schedule for September 4-10 includes Martin McDonagh’s latest black tragicomedy film The Banshees of Inisherin, Alec Baldwin’s 97 Minutes, and George Miller and Tom Hardy’s Mad Max: Fury Road.
Starting on September 4, viewers will be able to stream The Banshees of Inisherin. This black tragicomedy film is directed by Martin McDonagh, who is best known for his work on the critically acclaimed films, In Bruges, and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri!. The story of The Banshees of Inisherin is a tale of a broken friendship between two lifelong friends, Padraic (Colin Farrell) and Colm (Brendan Gleeson), which is bound to deeply tug your heartstrings, so make sure you bring in tissues before you start watching the film. Then on September 8, viewers can catch Alec Baldwin’s 97 Minutes, which is a story about a plane that only has 97 minutes before it runs out of fuel and crashes.
Finally, on September 9, viewers can catch the fourth installment of the Mad Max film series, Mad Max: Fury Road. This film stars Tom Hardy in the lead role of Max Rockatansky and sees Max join forces with Imperator Furiosa against a cult led by Immortan Joe, that leads to an all-out road battle. Aside from Tom Hardy, the film also features Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Josh Helman, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, Courtney Eaton, and Abbey Lee, among other cast members.
