Haikyu!!! season 5 release date rumors have swirled since the series finished its fourth season on December 19, 2020. Since then fans of the popular volleyball anime have been on the lookout for news regarding the next season to find out when they can see more of Shoyo Hinata and his volleyball teammates.

Is there a Haikyu!!! Season 5 release date?
Haikyu!!! Season 5 is expected by fans to arrive sometime between August and October 2023. However, the creators of the Haikyu!!! anime have not announced any official news regarding a fifth season, let alone a release date. The August and October release date for Haikyu!!! Season 5 expected by fans is possibly due to the timeframe in which Haikyu!!! Season 4 Part 2 dropped, which is between the months of October and December.
However, there is a very great chance that Haikyuu Season 5 will not happen, as the recently announced two-part Haikyu!!! Final Movie will cover the final chapters of the Haikyu!!! manga and end the series. This will no doubt be crushing news for fans who were expecting a fifth season for Haikyu!!!

Where is Haikyu!!! Season 5 coming out?
Haikyu!!! Season 5 is anticipated to come out on MBS in August-October 2023. It will also be available for streaming on Netflix and Crunchyroll.
The official synopsis for Haikyu!!! reads:
“Based off of the original Weekly Shonen Jump manga series from Haruichi Furudate, Haikyu!! is a slice-of-life sports anime revolving around Shouyou Hinata’s love of volleyball. Inspired by a small-statured pro volleyball player, Hinata creates a volleyball team in his last year of middle school. Unfortunately, the team is matched up against the “King of the Court” Tobio Kageyama’s team in their first tournament and inevitably lose. After the crushing defeat, Hinata vows to surpass Kageyama. After entering high school, Hinata joins the volleyball team only to find that Tobio has also joined.”
