Secret Invasion episode 5 ending

Did Nick Fury survive Secret Invasion?

Yes, Nick Fury survived the events of Secret Invasion.

Fans of the character portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson can sigh with relief as Secret Invasion wasn’t the last MCU appearance of the former head of S.H.I.E.L.D. While G’iah (Emilia Clarke) defeated Gravik (Kingsley Ben-Adir), Fury saved the President of the United States from the Skrull version of Colonel James “Rhodey” Rhodes (Don Cheadle), a.k.a. Raava. But the Skrull affair is far from over as President Ritson declared the hunting season open on all the aliens living on Earth. The last moments of the series show a free-for-all war between humans and Skrulls. Meanwhile, Fury headed to S.A.B.E.R. to take part in a diplomatic meeting between Skrulls and Kree.

Did the series reveal how long Rhodey was a Skrull?

Secret Invasion didn’t tell how long Rhodey was a Skrull in the Secret Invasion episode 6 ending.

One of the biggest questions of Secret Invasion was left unanswered. Despite the fans’ interest, the series didn’t unveil when Raava took Rhodey’s place. Secret Invasion did show the real Rhodey as one of the people kept prisoners at New Skrullos. At least, fans saw Rhodey hasn’t always been a Skrull but got kidnapped at a certain point in his life. As for Raava, she met his end at the hands of Fury, who shot the Skrull while liberating the POTUS from the hospital.
