The first season of Vinland Saga premiered in July 2019 and ran for 18 episodes. Despite its massive success, a second season was not officially announced until 2022. Then, season 2 debuted in January 2023, and its 24th and final episode aired on June 19, 2023. Based on this pattern, season 3 might not be announced until 2024 or 2025.
With the first two seasons adapting less than 100 chapters of Makoto Yukimura’s original manga, we can be confident that season 3 will eventually arrive.
