Bethesda Reveals First In-Game Footage from DOOM

Ahead of their E3 showcase, developer Bethesda has debuted a quick teaser for fans with the first look at in-game footage from the upcoming DOOM, the fourth installment in the classic franchise. Check it out in the player below and stay tuned to ComingSoon.net on June 14 at 7 P.M. PST for Bethesda’s full showcase.

Series creators Id Software is developing the new title, which was previously shown off at QuakeCon 2014. The game will reportedly go back to the roots of the franchise, with more fast-paced combat, forcing players to take on multiple enemies at one time. Players will also be able to hold as many weapons as they’d like and never be forced to reload just like in the original DOOM games.

Set once again on the landscape of Mars, as it is being invaded by the forces of hell, DOOM will offer new inventive mechanics for players in addition to expanding on the ones players love about the franchise. Taking a page from the likes of Mortal Kombat, players will be able to perform fatality moves on enemies in the game, who will also have the option of performing different killing moves on the player as well.

DOOM is set to debut on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
