Sony and Microsoft have both announced the slate of April 2018 free games that will be available to subscribing PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold members.
PlayStation Plus members will receive the open world action game Mad Max and the arcade racing game TrackMania Turbo for PlayStation 4, the twin stick shooter In Space We Brawl and the racing game Toy Home for PlayStation 3, with the side-scrolling beat ’em up 99 Vidas for PS Vita, and the platformer Q*Bert Rebooted for PS Vita, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. Xbox Live Gold members will receive four new free games – two on Xbox One and two on Xbox 360 – as part of the Games with Gold program. On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download the 3D puzzle game The Witness for free during the month of April and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate from April 16th to May 15th. On Xbox 360 (with Xbox One backwards compatibility), fans get Cars 2: The Video Game from April 1st to 15th and Dead Space 2 from April 16th through April 30th.
