This deal is part of the latest installment of Xbox Free Play Days. The current promotion began Thursday and ends at 11:59 PM Pacific on February 25/2:59 AM Eastern on February 26. On Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S consoles, navigate to the Store, select the Subscriptions tab, and look for the Free Play Days collection. PC users must go to the game’s store page directly and make sure they are signed in.
Xbox users who want to keep the games permanently can purchase them at a discount. Players who do so will keep any Achievements and Gamerscore earned during the free period. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre usually retails for $39.99 but is currently $29.99. Ghost Recon Breakpoint: Ultimate Edition retails for $59.99 and is on sale for $8.99. Finally, Xbox gamers can grab Catan – Console Edition, which usually retails for $16.99, for only $8.49. It’s also worth noting that the sale is open to all Xbox Users, not just Game Pass Core and Ultimate Members.
Game Pass Core is the lowest membership tier available to Console users, replacing Xbox Live Gold in September 2023. For $10 a month, it offers subscribers exclusive deals, a catalog of 25 free games, and access to online multiplayer through Xbox Consoles.
