Following multiple leaks and an official reveal date, Electronic Arts has finally released the first Need for Speed Unbound trailer. The video also confirmed that the latest entry in the long-running series is coming out on December 2, 2022, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Those who pre-order the game will get three days of early access and exclusive items.
The 90-second video features an original song by rap superstar A$AP Rocky called “Shittin Me.” Rocky and his AWGE company is heavily involved in the game, curating the soundtrack and helping define the game’s hip-hop-influenced style. The racing features stylish action that is a departure from recent games, which went for a more realistic style.

“Race against time, outsmart the cops, and take on weekly qualifiers to reach The Grand, Lakeshore’s ultimate street racing challenge,” says EA. “Pack your garage with precision-tuned, custom rides and light up the streets with your style, exclusive fits, and a vibrant global soundtrack that bumps in every corner of the world.”
While the footage itself is new, many of these details have been leaking out steadily over the last few months. The biggest of which came earlier this week when a Japanese retailer put up screenshots and a description of the game in question.
