A Plague Tale: Requiem Gets Nearly $200 Collector’s Edition

A Plague Tale: Requiem Gets Big & Expensive Collector’s Edition

Focus Home Interactive announced a massive collector’s edition for the upcoming A Plague Tale: Requiem. This huge $189.99 edition comes with a statue, vinyl, and much more.

The Plague Tale: Requiem: Collector’s Edition is available to pre-order now from the Focus Entertainment Store, and includes:

  • The game on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S or a digital code for the PC version
  • An exclusive Focus Entertainment Store box cover
  • An 8.3′ resin statue of Amicia & Hugo
  • 45RPM vinyl featuring two tracks
  • A metal brooch modeled after Hugo’s feather brooch
  • Three lithographs featuring art from the game

Those who buy the collector’s edition will also get the Red Damsel Crossbow Skin, bonus crafting materials, and 13 exclusive cosmetics for Amicia. “Cosmetics” is a bit vague, but the picture implies that they will be flowers for Amicia’s hair. Amicia would also put flowers in hair in the first game if players could track them down.

While that’s not exactly uncommon for most collector’s or special editions to be expensive, it still will likely only be something that major fans of the upcoming sequel are looking to pick up. Focus Home also hasn’t confirmed what the price of the base game will be, and it’s possible that it will jump to $69.99, given how it is only current-gen consoles and PC.
