Horizon Forbidden West Lego Set Announced

Horizon Forbidden West has a universe full of machines built by other machines and now Sony is letting players get in on the building action themselves. The company is partnering with Lego to release a set based on the series’ iconic Tallneck, the long-necked, giraffe-like machines that stalk Horizon‘s world. It is slated for release sometime in May 2022 for an unknown price.

The Tallneck comes with a small platform with a tree and street light along with a minifigure of Aloy and a Watcher that can be customized with blue, yellow, or red eye lights. The Tallneck itself is 13.5 inches. Lead Producer Franchise Development Tim Symons said the team “uses clever building techniques to capture the machine’s authentic details.” It appears as though this is the only set for now as Sony didn’t drop any hints about adding more down the line, even if there are many different types of robotic enemies to choose from.

Tallnecks are communication machines that send data to the other machines out in the world. Players can override these nonhostile beings in both games to unfog the map.
