In the new trailer, players are treated to a fairly long and extensive look at what to expect in the latest campaign entry. This includes how some of the early stages of the game will play out, as Master Chief will have to find a new AI companion as he uncovers the secret to what happened with Cortana.

Alongside the brief glimpse into the story, the trailer also highlights some of the Banished, the new group of enemies fighting against Master Chief. Of course, it looks like some classic enemies, like Grunts, Hunters, and more will be available.

Halo Infinite also features a more open-world concept, with various quests and missions scattered throughout the world and able to be completed in any order. Players can also use the grappling hook, a new tool that allows players to grab things like weapons, vehicles, and even explosive items that can be thrown at enemies or objectives. The sandbox seems to allow for more player freedom and doesn’t seem too unlike a game like Far Cry. The trailer even showed some YouTube-worthy clips that only seem like the tip of the iceberg of what more creative players will be able to do.
