A brand new trailer for the upcoming mobile battle royale Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier was released during the 2021 Tokyo Game Show, highlighting some of the classes available to play as.

The new trailer gives players a quick look at some gameplay from each of the classes, including the Warrior, Sorcerer, Monk, Ranger, and Ninja. Each of these classes has their own special abilities, and players can level them up along the way while they play in each battle royale match.

Set 30 years before the events of Final Fantasy VII, The First Soldier features a ton of nods to the classic franchise, including ridable chocobos, powerful espers, and the ability to use summon and materia abilities while you’re in the middle of a fight with other opponents. There will also be cosmetic upgrades to unlock and purchase for characters, vehicles, and much more.
