The Remastered Collection will see both Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm bundled together, with remastered character and environment visuals, brand new engine lighting upgrades, a brand new, fully motion-captured facial animation for the original game, and new deluxe content in Before the Storm, including new outfits, a “Farewell” episode, and a Zombie Crypt outfit. It’s now set to launch on February 1, 2022.

The original Life is Strange was released only six years ago, but became a smash hit. The story focused on Max Caulfield, an 18-year-old photography student that discovers she has the ability to rewind time whenever she sees fit. The game then explored the various butterfly effects that occur from the player changing different events.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm is a prequel title that was released in 2017, and focused on a sixteen-year-old Chloe Price and her relationship with her schoolmate, Rachel Amber. The gameplay was similar to the original, with a heavy focus on dialogue and storytelling through various interactions similar to The Walking Dead franchise of games.
