First Concept Art from the Next Hitman Game

Hitman creators IO Interactive have revealed the first piece of concept art for the upcoming sixth game in the popular franchise which you can check out below. The image shows off a massive building in central Europe that the developer says players will be able to explore in its entirety when they play the new game, but they also revealed that the scene depicted below is bigger than any location in all of Hitman: Absolution.

IO Interactive added that fans hoping to see a glimpse of the new Hitman game at this year’s E3 should know they’re keeping the project “under wraps” for a little bit longer, though they do promise additional reveals through the rest of this year.

Built using the Glacier 2 engine, the new game will feature open, non-linear level design ensuring the game will play out across huge, checkpoint-free, sandbox levels. Though no release date has been revealed, the Hitman game is being developed for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
