Synopsis:
This is the second season of Home Improvement which aired in 1992. The following is the official description of the DVD:
“Plug in the power drill and break out the socket wrenches! Tim Allen hammers home the laughs as Tim “The Toolman” Taylor in Home Improvement’s hilarious second season. Tim and his levelheaded wife, Jill, undertake the challenge of raising three young, mischievous boys. It’s a tough project, but with insightful advice from his wise (and only partially seen) next door neighbor, Wilson, they’re able to get the job done.
Now you can own all 25 episodes of the show’s second season in this comprehensive 3-Disc DVD set. And with exclusive bonus features, it’s a must-have for any Home Improvement collection.”
This DVD is rated TV PG.
The Series:
Everything I said about the first season of Home Improvement really carries over to the second season. (See my review here) It’s still fun, still hilarious, and appropriate for the whole family. If you haven’t viewed Home Improvement, I recommend starting with the first season. I think if you already purchased the first season, then the second season is worth adding to your collection.
The Extras:
There are even fewer bonus features on this DVD set than there were on the first one. All that’s here is Loose Screws Part 2. It’s nothing more than a highlight reel from the episodes already included on the disc. It’s not even a blooper reel. Why would you want this if you already own the episodes?
The Bottom Line:
Home Improvement fans will want to add this second season to their collections. Everyone else may want to start with the first season before moving on to this one.
