New Stormy Daniels Documentary Footage Focuses on Adult Actor’s Version of Donald Trump Story

The upcoming Peacock documentary Stormy will focus on the Stormy Daniels–Donald Trump scandal that made headlines in 2018. However, this project will narrate this story from Daniels’ perspective. It will be released on March 18, 2024, on the OTT platform.

According to IMDb, the synopsis of the upcoming documentary reads, “Behind the curtain with Stormy Daniels as she shares her story. The film follows her reinventing herself while grappling with events from 5 years earlier that made her an unlikely American icon.”

Stormy Daniels is a 44-year-old American adult film actress who had an affair with former U.S. President Donald Trump. According to The Hollywood Reporter, in 2018, The Wall Street Journal reported Trump’s 2006 affair with Stormy. Prior to that, in 2016, the actress allegedly received $130,000 to keep their past relationship a secret. However, Donald Trump did not admit to the affair.

In the new trailer of the upcoming project, Peacock revealed several never-before-seen footage of Daniels’ unpredictable life. The clip also shows Daniels reacting in real-time to discovering her celebrity lawyer, Michael Avenatti, allegedly forging her signature.

Stormy Daniels: ‘Just wanted to stand up for myself’

In the Stormy’s trailer, Daniels says that the aforementioned scandal incredibly impacted her daily life. She allegedly received death threats and also revealed that she wanted to stand up for herself. Daniels stated, “Every time I stood up, I got kicked down even harder, and I hit rock bottom. I just wanted to stand up for myself. I won’t give up because I’m telling the truth.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Donald Trump is facing a 34-count federal criminal indictment in New York with charges of falsifying business records in connection with this case. Furthermore, this case is expected to be the first of the former US President’s four criminal cases to go to trial.

Stormy was directed and produced by Emmy nominee Sarah Gibson. Its executive producers are Erin Lee Carr, Judd Apatow, Sara Bernstein, and Meredith Kaulfers.
