The ongoing modern C-drama Everyone Loves Me released episode 7 on March 3, 2024. The drama features prominent actors Lin Yi and Zhou Ye in the lead roles. The drama is an adaptation of the novel “Bie Dui Wo Dong Xin” by Qiao Yao. Yu Chung Chung and Lee Ching Jung are the directors of the drama. Everyone Loves Me tells the story of Yue Qian Ling (Zhou Ye), who has a crush on one of her batchmates, Gu Xun (Lin Yi). Qian Ling confesses her feelings to him. But sadly, Gu Xun turns her down, and the rejection leaves her heartbroken. She turns to video games to soothe her heart. Meanwhile, Gu Xun is in love with his online gaming buddy. But little does he know that his online friend and Qian Ling are the same person.
In episode 7 of Everyone Loves Me, Qian Ling confesses to Gu Xun about her feelings for him. She asks him if he has a girlfriend and tells him she has liked him for a long time. Qian Ling asks Gu Xun if she stands a chance to be his girlfriend, and if he is not ready, she is willing to be his friend and patiently wait for him.

He has a mic on, and his words catch everyone’s attention.
Gu Xun’s answer crushes her spirit. She rushes home and breaks down while thinking about the moments she had spent with him. Qian Ling tries to comfort herself by playing her video game. Not knowing that this is the same girl he rejected earlier that day, Gu Xun is worried about his online gaming partner. But when he hears that her crush rejected her, he feels overjoyed.
But his joy doesn’t last long. Qian Ling tells him that she lent her cousin her account for a few days, and she had a successful confession. Meanwhile, her classmate, Gu Xun, rejected her in front of the whole class. Gu Xun is devastated to know that he actually rejected his own crush.
Qian Ling makes up her mind not to think about Gu Xun anymore. She vows to forget about him and to have a fresh start.
Meanwhile, the next day at the office, Gu Xun tries every way possible to talk to Qian Ling, but she does not want to speak to him. He tries to join her for lunch, but she ignores him. But as fate may it, she eventually moves into the apartment complex where Gu Xun stays.
