Anticipated romantic C-drama Amidst a Snowstorm of Love has released its first batch of episodes on February 02, 2024. It features popular actors Leo Wu and Zhao Jinmai in the main roles. The original broadcasting network of Amidst a Snowstorm of Love is Tencent Video. It is an adaptation of the web novel Zai Bao Xue Shi Fen by Mo Bao Fei Bao. The directors of the drama are Ten Jen Huang and Yu Bo.
The drama tells the story of Lin Yi Yang (Leo Wu), a former professional snooker player, who falls in love with Yin Guo (Zhao Jinmai). The duo meet for the first time during a blizzard. As they continue to meet, they form an unbreakable bond. Her influence completely transforms his life.
On Episode 1 of Amidst a Snowstorm of Love, Lin Yi Yang is going somewhere during a snowstorm. A group of passerby recognizes him and stops him. But he denies being the famous snooker player and walks away. Meanwhile, Yin Guo is also seen walking with her brother. They arrive at a cafe. It seems like they are looking for a hotel nearby but can’t find any.

Yin Guo sits by the window. Yiyang is also walking towards the same cafe. He stops in his tracks when he sees her. He can not take his eyes off of her. After he enters the cafe, he meets with two of his friends. Unknown to him, one of them is Yin Guo’s brother.
On the first episode of Amidst a Snowstorm of Love, Yiyang buys Yin Guo and her brother drinks. She finds it odd that he keeps staring at her. Turns out, her brother had approached them because he heard them speaking Chinese. Yiyang wants to give them a ride to their hotel but Yin Guo refuses. She is really suspicious of Yiyang. He shows her his IDs and tries to befriend her. After they book a cab, Yiyang comes along and drops them at their hotel.
The next morning Yin Guo adds Yiyang on WeChat. She wants to pay him back the cab fare and for the drinks he bought them. But Yiyang refuses. She decides to treat him to a meal for helping them out. But unfortunately, Yiyang has already gone back to his school which is in the next city. Yin Guo’s brother really wants to meet him. Yin Guo is a little hesitant at first but her brother keeps trying to persuade her. She finally gives in. The siblings decide to go to the next city to meet Yiyang and repay him for his kindness.
But their visit goes in vain as Yiyang is unable to meet them. Yiyang sends a message saying that he would not come but he’ll treat them to a hearty meal the next time they meet. Yin Guo is a little disappointed. What does fate have in store for them?
