Alongside Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, and Beerus, a bevy of iconic items have come to Fortnite as weapons and gliders. Goku’s power pole (Nyoibō) is both a back cosmetic and a Pickaxe, while Goku’s Flying Nimbus (Kintōun) and Vegeta’s Saiyan pod are available as gliders. Master Roshi’s staff and shell are available as a Pickaxe and back cosmetic, respectively, and the Fusion Dance and Power Charge gesture are purchasable emotes.

Goku, Vegeta, and Bulma all have different styles that can be equipped, like Goku and Vegeta’s Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan forms, alongside Goku’s Ultra Instinct and Vegeta’s Shinka/Blue Evolved form. Bulma has a lab coat style as well, though Beerus has no alternate looks.

A new tab has been added to the menu, which contains the Power Unleashed Quests. These seven sets of Quests let you collect all seven Dragon Balls and plenty of rewards, including a Shenron Glider. Starting on August 19, players will also be able to explore Dragon Ball Adventure Island, where they can find iconic Dragon Ball locations like Kami’s lookout and the Kame House, as well as partake in Nimbus Courses. Finally, from August 16 until September 17, players can watch certain episodes of Dragon Ball Super on an in-game cruise ship.

The Dragon BallFortnite crossover was heavily rumored in early July after originally being rumored in 2021. Following the inclusion of fellow Shonen Jump anime series Naruto Shippuden, it makes sense that Dragon Ball would be next — especially given the series’ widespread international appeal.
