The Misfit of Demon King Academy season 2 part 2 will be released on April 12, 2024. The official staff shared the news on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, on their livestream. In addition, the livestream revealed the cast members and the new opening song.

The Misfit of Demon King Academy: Everything we know so far
As mentioned earlier, the livestream for The Misfit of Demon King Academy season 2 announced that the second part will release on April 12. It also revealed the additional cast members alongside a teaser visual and video. The opening theme song, “Mao,” will be performed by BURNOUT SYNDROME.
The trailer revealed three new characters for the upcoming series: Ahid Alovo Agartz, Militia, and Arcana. The new cast members include Toshihiko Seki, who will voice Ahid Alovo Agartz. Seki is known for his voicing Muzan Kibutsuji (Demon Slayer) and Iruka Umino (Naruto). Joining him will be Aoi Yuki and Nao Toyama, who will play Militia and Arcana.
Returning cast members include Yuichiro Umehara as Anos Voldigoad, Tomori Kusunoki as Misha Necron, Yuko Natsuyoshi as Sasha Necron, etc. Aside from them, Shin Oonuma returns as the chief director alongside director Masafumi Tamura. SILVERLINK will once again produce the series. Kazuyuki Yamayoshi will also return to adapt Yoshinori Shizuma-san’s original character designs.
As for the plot, J-Novel summarizes it in the following way: “Tired of ceaseless war destroying humans, spirits, and demons alike, the Demon King of Tyranny, Anos Voldigoad, reincarnates to restore peace. Two thousand years have passed, but who could have known that his descendants’ complacency would cause magic to regress so much?”
The synopsis continues, “After receiving an invitation to the illustrious Demon King Academy, a school tasked with locating the reincarnated founding ancestor, Anos resolves to enroll, only to discover that his magic is off the charts—literally! With power too great to be measured, the former Demon King is branded a misfit. How will he convince Demonkind that the school’s founder stands before them? Thus begins a misfit’s climb to the top of the demon hierarchy!”
