Metallic Rouge anime has recently got significant attention from fans. As the ongoing anime continues to excite viewers, the LINE Manga app recently revealed that Metallic Rouge anime will get a webtoon adaptation. The full-color Metallic Rouge webtoon will be launched on March 7, 2024. Meika Tokyo and Chita Tsurushima are reportedly illustrating the webtoon at Whomor.

To celebrate the 25 years of Studio Bones, the animation studio heralded a new project to treat their fans. As such, the Metallic Rouge anime came into being. The series started premiering on January 10, 2024, in Crunchyroll and Fuji TV’s +Ultra slot.
The synopsis of the Metallic Rouge anime, as shared by Crunchyroll, reads, “In a world where humans coexist with androids called Neans, a group known as the Immortal Nine rises up against society. Tasked with disposing of the revolters, a Nean named Rouge Redstar (aka Metal Rouge) and investigator Naomi Orthmann head to Mars to track them down…but first, Rouge wants some chocolate.”

At Studio Bones, Motonobu Hori oversees the anime’s direction. Yutaka Izubuchi, who is the chief director, serves as the scribe for the Metallic Rouge anime.
