Best Green-Haired Anime Characters: Zoro, Maki Zenin & More

Characters in anime are dynamic in every aspect. Whether it is their personality, skills, or appearance, they manage to leave their audience awestruck. Thanks to the character designers and their creative expression, these characters act as proof of diversity and uniqueness in anime. Here are the five best green-haired anime characters who have managed to leave otakus stunned, not only because of their appearance but also because of their skills:

Roronoa Zoro, One Piece

As one of the crucial members of the Straw Hat Pirates, Zoro is Luffy’s right-hand man. He is the team’s primary swordsman and a Senior Officer who started as a bounty hunter. He was born in the East Blue and belongs to the Shimotsuki Family of Wano Country.

As one of the most prominent swordsmen, he has mastery over the Three Sword Style. That doesn’t stop Zoro from aspiring to be the world’s greatest swordsman, mostly due to his promise to his friend from childhood, Kuina.

Maki Zenin, Jujutsu Kaisen

One of the best characters in Jujutsu Kaisen, Maki Zenin, reigns an adept sorcerer in Jujutsu High. As her name suggests, she belongs to one of the most formidable clans in the history of sorcery – the Zenin clan. However, she was born as a non-sorcerer, which led people around her to ill-treat her. Hence, she left the Zenin clan.

However, she did not give up on becoming a sorcerer. Maki trained hard to become a skilled jujutsu sorcerer in defiance of the clan that mistreated her. She collaborates with other second-year Jujutsu High students, Panda and Inumaki, and stands as a role model for the students of the first year.

Broly, Dragon Ball Super

Paragus’ son, Broly, is a potent Saiyan mutant who also happens to be a rare breed. As such, he is one of those mighty Saiyan warriors who appear once in every millennium, making him a Legendary Super Saiyan in Universe 7.

His potency exceeds that of Prince Vegeta. This led King Vegeta to exile him into Vampa. There, Broly’s father raised him until a Frieza Force duo rescued him. He is the main protagonist as well as the antagonist in Dragon Ball Super: Broly.

Deku, My Hero Academia

Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, is the central protagonist in My Hero Academia. Born Quirkless, he grabs All Might’s attention, thereby becoming his pupil. Additionally, Deku’s strong inclination toward attaining justice urges All Might to transfer his legendary Quirk, One For All.

Threats from Tomura Shigaraki and All For One lead Deku to leave U.A. for a while. However, he fortunately returns upon his friends’ persuasion. He leads a team of heroes in a battle after the Paranormal Liberation War.

Maomao, The Apothecary Diaries
