The Witch and the Beast Anime Key Visual Features Ashaf and Guideau

The television anime adaptation of Kōsuke Satake’s manga, “The Witch and the Beast”, revealed a fresh visual on its official website. Together with the visual, the website also unveiled additional cast and staff members.

The visual suggests that the anime will stay true to the manga’s themes since it is set in the late 18th-19th century. Also, the brand-new key visual spotlights two central characters, Ashaf and Guideau. Ashaf, on the left, is recognized for his composed demeanor and is popularly a gentleman. On the other hand, Guideau, on the right, is characterized by a more assertive nature. Additionally, the common ground between them is that both were cursed by a self-proclaimed hero witch.

As it was already announced, Takayuki Hamana is directing the anime at the Yokohama Animation Laboratory. Moreover, character design is handled by Hiroya Iijima. Originating in Young Magazine Third, in 2017, the serialization of the manga shifted to Monthly Young Magazine in 2021. The ongoing manga series is authored and illustrated by Kōsuke Satake, who put the manga on hold due to his health concerns. But, despite its hiatus, the anticipation for the anime TV adaptation remains high as fans eagerly await its grand premiere.
