One Piece Episode 1042 Recap
The fight between Franky and Sasaki continues. Franky and Sasaki use swords to fight each other. While fighting, Franky realizes he’s close to the Performance Floor. He uses laser attacks on Sasaki to try to finish him off. Meanwhile, Kaido reveals the details about Yamato’s Devil Fruit, which is a Mythical Type of fruit. Kaido still insists on Yamato protecting Wano for him since Yamato’s Devil Fruit is a guardian deity of Wano. However, Yamato wants to open Wano’s borders and free its people.
Elsewhere, Robin and Brook walk into a mysterious fog. Robin suddenly sees her mother, Professor Clover, and Saul. She then remembers her childhood in Ohara and her memories with those people. Her “mother” calls out to her, and Brook tells her not to go any closer. In Robin’s memories, she remembers when Saul realized who her mother is and how he warned her about the Navy coming for Ohara. He also tells her to sail out to sea, where she will surely meet some friends who will protect her. Robin is aware of Black Maria’s illusion and attacks Black Maria’s subordinates.
