Chainsaw Man Episode 6 Recap
The group realizes they’re stuck on the eighth floor with no exit. They stay in one of the hotel rooms to review the situation. Aki concludes that a devil’s power is what’s stopping them. Aki also tries to see if the piece from the Gun Devil will move, but unfortunately, there’s no reaction. Kobeni starts freaking out since she believes they’re all going to die at the hotel. Power laughs at her while Himeno tries to calm her down. Aki looks at the clock and sees it’s been stuck at 8:18. He concludes that time isn’t moving on their floor, and no one from the outside can probably rescue them.
After some time, Aki, Denji, Himeno, and Power are the only relatively sane ones left. Denji notices that Himeno smokes the same brand of cigarettes as Aki. Himeno reveals she’s the one who taught Aki to smoke. In a flashback, Himeno tells Aki not to die so easily because it’s troublesome. Aki returns to the hotel room and says that the devil is getting bigger and bigger. The devil proposes a contract where it eats Denji, and the rest of the devil hunters can leave unharmed. Kobeni overhears this and tries to stab Denji but fails. Arai votes to kill Denji again, but Aki and Himeno refuse.
In another room, Kobeni and Arai lose their cool. The devil starts moving and introduces itself as the Eternity Devil. Kobeni attempts to stab Denji again, but Aki takes the hit instead. Himeno is also at a loss for what to do. Denji decides to transform into Chainsaw Man and jumps down the Eternity Devil’s mouth.
