Spy x Family Episode 17 Recap
Anya plans on showing Damian a family photo with Bond to try to get closer to him. However, when Anya tries to show him the photo, she gets ignored. Instead, Becky picks up the photo and starts asking Anya about Loid. She then tells Anya she’s keeping the photo. Shortly after, their arts and crafts class begins. Anya and Damian are in the same group, and Anya creates a paper version of Bond. She shows it to an unimpressed Damian. Meanwhile, Damian is making the griffin on his family crest. Anya reads his mind and finds out that Damian wants to do a good job so he can show his father. Anya then thinks that if he helps Damian, it will be a good thing for the mission.
With that, Anya volunteers to help Damian. However, she makes parts that Damian doesn’t approve of. After class, Anya apologizes for being useless and offers her modified Bond to pair with Damian’s griffin. It ends up winning a gold medal from the Board of Directors. Anya congratulates Damian and says he can show it to his dad, but Damian refuses. Meanwhile, a few guys are tailing Sylvia Sherwood, also known as the Handler. She shows them her “usual” routine, which at the same time makes it easy for her to roam around unnoticed by others. She meets with Loid to talk about updates on Operation Strix. Loid then talks about Anya’s physical achievements. The post-credits scene shows Yor cooking inedible dishes for Yuri.
