The Devil is a Part-Timer!! Episode 10 Recap

Emerada and Emi continue their conversation on the phone. Emerada explains more about Lailah, although Emi claims she doesn’t actually know who her mother is. Meanwhile, Maou is determined to buy a TV for the household. Ashiya and Maou debate over whether they need the TV or not. After Maou asks Ashiya for a budget estimate, he reminds him that they have a point card that will greatly help with the TV cost. After that, Chiho and Suzuno walk home with Emi. Suzuno tells them she’s also interested in buying a TV, so she plans on going with Maou and Ashiya the next day. On the train, Suzuno updates Emi on what’s happening at Ente Isla. As they arrive at the apartment, Rika calls Emi, saying that Ashiya asked her to go shopping with him.

The next day, Maou, Ashiya, and Suzuno leave the apartment. Meanwhile, Emi is conflicted with her feelings regarding Ashiya and Rika. She ends up going home early due to her unstable emotions. On her way home, she buys a container for the Yesod Fragment. Back at the apartment, Gabriel and Urushihara talk. Urushihara shares why he ended up joining Satan’s side.

Meanwhile, the phone call between Emi and Emerada reveals that the Great Eastern Continental Empire of Efzahan declared war on the countries in the Central Continent. Emi offers to go back, but Emerada says she should continue her task in Japan. On the other hand, Chiho arrives home from school. After turning on the TV, a huge light flashes, and she passes out.
