Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 265 Recap

For the practice training session, the class was divided into groups of three. Kae and Himawari are with Sosha. Meanwhile, Kawaki ends up with Soul and Harika. As for Kawaki’s mission, Himawari offers to help since she’s on the same team as Kae. He tells her to ensure that Kae doesn’t find out about his mission. On the day of the training session, Kae and Kawaki become leaders of their respective groups.

After the first exercise, Kawaki’s team ends up in last place since Kawaki was distracted by watching over Kae. He ditches the exercise to check on Kae and Himawari after Kae almost falls off the tree. Kawaki remains preoccupied during the other exercises, leaving his teammates unsatisfied. After lunch, Kae wanders off after receiving a letter from someone asking for advice on something. Himawari alerts Kawaki about it, and they split up to look for Kae.

Himawari finds Kae sitting under a giant tree. However, a flame bear shows up and chases them. Meanwhile, Kawaki sees Konashi, who updates him on Kae’s whereabouts. Konashi explains why he wrote the letter addressed to Kae. But, he saw the flame bear before reaching the meet-up point, so he ran away. While Himawari and Kae run, Hana uses herself as a distraction while the two continue to escape. Eventually, Kawaki and Konashi catch up to them. Kawaki rushes to Hana’s location and defeats the flame bear.

Konashi becomes inspired by Kawaki’s actions. After apologizing to Kae, he lets her try the sweets he made. Kae gives him a positive review. Meanwhile, Harika and Soul scold Kawaki for slacking off. He makes it up to the group by placing first place in the last exercise. However, Kae’s team wins overall. After the training session, Kawaki praises Himawari for protecting Kae.
