Production on a sequel to the live-action adaptation of Tokyo Revengers has been greenlit, according to a recent announcement by Warner Bros.’ official Japanese YouTube channel.
The new video confirms that the film would be coming in 2023, and see the return of many of the original cast from the first film, including lead actor Takemichi Hanagaki. Once again, the film will be directed by Tsutomu Hanabusa and produced by Shota Okada. New cast members were also confirmed to be arriving in the film, although no information on that was revealed at the time.
