The Devil is a Part-Timer Season 2 Episode 2 Recap

Maou and Emi tell Alas Ramus that they are not her parents, but she doesn’t accept it. After Alas Ramus falls asleep, the group begins discussing who sent Alas Ramus. Suzuno notes that Alas Ramus consists of words humans would use in Ente Isla, not angels or demons. Therefore, an unknown person from Ente Isla would be the one behind naming Alas Ramus. Urushihara points out someone has to take care of her. Eventually, Maou says their household will take her in. After school, Chiho drops off some baby essentials, and Ashiya expresses his gratitude. Shortly after, Alas Ramus wakes up and starts crying again, looking for Maou. Meanwhile, Rika asks Emi if there’s a problem with Maou since her face has been all scrunched up. Rika asks if it’s about her child with Maou, leaving Emi embarrassed.

Chiho gets Alas Ramus to fall asleep again, thanks to her experience caring for children. Chiho and Suzuno get flustered by Alas Ramus’ cuteness. After work, Emi and Rika discuss the issue more. Rika hands Emi a couple of amusement park tickets, which Rika suggests are suitable for making memories with the child. Meanwhile, Chiho, Suzuno, and Alas Ramus visit Maou at MgRonald’s. Maou begins freaking out because Alas Ramus calls her “papa,” with Chiho carrying her. Sasaki points out how Chiho’s way of helping out Maou and the others will cause judgment from the public. Maou speaks to Chiho privately, telling her to remember what Sasaki said. He expresses his great trust in Chiho, which makes her cry out of happiness. Later on, Sasaki also gives Maou the same amusement park tickets.

Elsewhere, Emi talks to Emerada about Alas Ramus. Emerada says she will look up some information. On their way to the train station, Ashiya and Chiho watch over Maou and Alas Ramus. Eventually, they also meet Rika, who was watching over Emi. Elsewhere, a mysterious group claims they will return the Sephiroth tree to its original form. A large gate opens, which Urushihara immediately senses from the apartment.
