One Piece Episode 1024 Recap

Yamato and Shinobu manage to defeat the subordinates that get in their way. However, Momonosuke feels incompetent since everyone else is protecting him while he can’t do much. In the middle of sharing his emotions, Momonosuke turns into a dragon. Yamato is surprised and asks Momonosuke if he ate a Devil Fruit. Momonosuke tells Yamato about how he ate a Devil Fruit in Punk Hazard. Meanwhile, the CP0 members talk about the same Devil Fruit, which turns out to be an artificial fruit created by Vegapunk.

Elsewhere, the Akazaya Nine are surprised to see Oden. Oden thanks them for their hard work and says he will explain everything later. The Akazaya Nine are in tears after seeing their leader again. However, when Oden mentions Toki, Ashura and the others become suspicious. Some start to question whether they’re looking at the real Oden. Ashura draws out his sword and cuts Oden’s face, which doesn’t even bleed. Shortly after, Oden stabs Ashura, and Ashura confirms they’re not looking at the real Oden. Eventually, the samurai figure out that Kanjuro is the one controlling the fake Oden.

On the rooftop, the Worst Generation continues to struggle in their fight against Big Mom and Kaido. After Luffy launches a failed attack, Zoro tells him to think first before attacking. Law and the others conclude that they must separate Big Mom and Kaido. Otherwise, it’ll be harder for them to fight Big Mom and Kaido when they’re working as a duo. Despite the current situation, Luffy looks at his opponents with determined eyes, ready to continue fighting.
