Anime Character With INTJ – MBTI Personality Type: Sasuke, Geto & More

Anime features a massive amount of genres, which further stream down to a variety of sub-genres. The world of anime has something that even the most meticulous individual might like, as the diversity among the stories is that intricate. This implies that anime has good content for INTJs, as they tend to be quite picky and critical about things. According to Myers & Briggs personality types, anime characters with INTJ characteristics are quite rare.

INTJs are characters with strong judgment and determination who are also inclined towards their goals. Such characters are always interesting to watch. A few examples of such characters will be discussed further on. However, to narrow down what INTJ characters look like in anime, they’re morally grey and often considered a villain until their reasonings are unveiled.

Sasuke Uchiha from Naruto is a perfect example to start this list. He is a skilled ninja who gets drowned in vengeance for his clan’s demise. Sasuke is quite adaptive and has a strategic mind, which explains his INTJ traits. Additionally, he has immense focus and a prominent personality that reflects introversion. He often distances himself from others to concentrate on his objectives.

Moreover, his intelligence and tendency to think ahead of time marks his INTJ traits as a formidable opponent. Furthermore, Geto has an innate power to handle complex curses, which reflects his strong Intuition trait. Additionally, he can develop long-term plans and anticipate the movements of his enemies.

When it comes to MBTI, there is no good or evil personality type. However, INTJs, also called the Architects, are mostly the villains. They plan ahead of time and are always a step ahead of their opponent. INTJs are reclusive thinkers and strategists, and the archvillain Sosuke Aizen represents these qualities. This character from Bleach planned several things ahead of time for decades. Interestingly, he cleverly worked his way, exploiting and deceiving everyone around him so he could achieve his goals. Sosuke Aizen is a true villain, a friend to none but an ally of everyone. He won’t think twice before betraying his minions if they let him down.

4. Lelouch Lamparouge

Discussing anime characters with INTJ personality types and not talking about Lelouch Lamperouge is a sin. A young man who perceives life as a big chessboard, he has a unique gift for anticipating his enemies’ moves and planning accordingly. His plans are far more prominent and impact his world politics. He might appear as an outright cynical and cold man on the exterior, but he cares deeply about the welfare of the repressed and downtrodden. These reflect his tertiary Introverted Feeling (Fi) along with his Introverted Intuition (Ni).

5. Ayanokoji Kiyotaka

Ayanokoji Kiyotaka is the protagonist of Classroom of the Elite, and he is portrayed as an extremist version of anime characters with INTJ personality traits. Considering the environment he was raised in, it isn’t surprising that Kiyotaka is shown to be insufferably edgy and an underrated “genius” whose goal is to get to the top class in the country. He is shown to be using his superior wits to manipulate those around him and planning everything ahead of time to achieve his goal. The anime portrays several philosophical themes concerning the main character’s behavior and ideologies. However, his character can sometimes feel forced.
