The Darren Lynn Bousman & Terrance Zdunich-created dark musical The Devil’s Carnival continues this year with Alleluia!, a sequel which rolls out this summer/fall in a traveling circus roadshow like its predecessor.
Alleluia! promises a singing, dancing supernatural war between heaven and hell. Much of the first “episode’s’ cast returns, rounded out with newcomers like Brea Grant and David Hasselhoff. Writer Zdunich (Repo!) returns as Lucifer, with Paul Sorvino again playing God. The full cast follows: Emilie Autumn, Barry Bostwick (The Rocky Horror Picture Show), the Butcher Babies, Chantal Claret (Morningwood), Dayton Callie, Briana Evigan, Brea Grant (Heroes), David Hasselhoff (Baywatch), Kristina Klebe (Rob Zombie’s Halloween), J Larose (Insidious), Mighty Mike Murga (Mini Kiss), Bill Moseley, Ted Neeley (Jesus Christ Superstar), Adam Pascal (Rent), rap icon Tech N9ne, Nivek Ogre (Skinny Puppy), Marc Senter, Lyndon Smith, Paul Sorvino (Goodfellas), Jimmy Urine (Mindless Self Indulgence), Danny Worsnop (Asking Alexandria) and Terrance Zdunich.
Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival premieres August 11th at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood and then proceeds to tour the U.S. until October 18th. You can find cities, dates and tickets at the official site and the film’s new trailer, below.
